You Can Pre-Book Parking for Comic-Con Now!

Did you know that you can now buy your parking in advance (including right underneath the convention center) at the official San Diego Comic-Con website? It’s true! That’s an amazing benefit for those struggling with parking each year.

However, that’s still not the best deal in town for the 4 Day attendee who doesn’t live in San Diego. Each of those parking areas will require you to leave and return each day (no overnight parking). The Unauthorized San Diego Comic-Con Survival Guide has the inside scoop on a parking location right in the Gaslamp District that lets you stay there all week (no in and out) for a fraction of the cost of the other lots and especially the hotel parking. Assuming they haven’t changed their policies, it should be effective this year as it’s not a part of the pre-book lots listed on the Comic-Con site. I’ve been using this extremely convenient lot for the last 5 years and have spent a total of $60 TOTAL to park from Wednesday to Sunday ($12/day, just $2 more than parking under the convention center itself, but I don’t have to leave each night!).

SDCC SURVIVAL GUIDE TIP – By the way, even when I’ve had a hotel on the other side of town (Little Italy) or in the Horton Plaza area, I’ve still kept my car in this special lot just to store my overloaded bags of swag and exclusives, grab some snacks, or a quick change of clothes throughout the day without having to head all the way back to the hotel. It’s saved me tons of wear and tear on my feet as well as lots of money.

The location of my favorite lot (one of my most protected secrets I almost don’t want to give away) is only available in The Unauthorized San Diego Comic-Con Survival Guide! Order now!
