If having a hotel at San Diego Comic-Con that’s not close to the Gaslamp Quarter is exactly what you’re looking for, then you might want to try the early bird special that CCI is offering starting today! These hotels are primarily in Mission Valley and the Hotel Circle, which is on the northern edge of the city of San Diego itself, but they do have shuttle service during the week of Comic-Con. There are other perks that the site hints at, but I’m not sure what they are at this point. However, the bad news is that these rooms must all be paid in advance with NO REFUNDS! So don’t expect to grab one of these and hold it as a backup that you can dump later in the event you grab a room at the time the official hotel room sale hits the web.
