San Diego Comic-Con will take another shot at selling badges to the frustrated fanboys and girls this Wednesday, December 15th at 8am Pacific time. According to SignOnSanDiego.com, Comic-Con International and EPIC (Event Planning International Corp) have teamed up with TicketLeap, a company used to high demand ticket requests who use Amazon’s servers to handle the load. However, there is one caveat to this sale… it’s only a test. In reality, no matter how many people log on to buy 4-Day passes Wednesday morning, only 1000 people will walk away with one. Additional passes will be made available at a future date. You ABSOLUTELY MUST go to the official San Diego Comic-Con website to understand what is going to happen in less than 2 days time, so there aren’t any surprises.
Comic-Con knows there is lots of frustration building with each attempt at putting the memberships on sale, but they’re working to correct it and this process, although oddly complicated, is a step in the right direction. Seriously, you really need to carefully read the official site IMMEDIATELY so you know what’s going down this coming Wednesday morning. Don’t say I didn’t warn you…
