While I haven’t had the time to overhaul it like I wanted to, I have updated the content, culled from an endless list of websites and press releases, many of which I’ve only just received in the last few days. So what I’m saying is that it isn’t pretty, but it has the information you need with links to the websites, the times and places, and prices for nearly everything going on outside the convention center from one side of San Diego to the other. From all of my research, I can say that there is no more comprehensive external Comic-Con event directory in one place on the web or anywhere else! I’ve even included a number of parties and screenings that you probably won’t hear about until you get to the Exhibition Hall floor this week. And, sure, I’ve included parties you probably can’t get into, but you might be able to watch from a distance or crash them at your own peril.
For fun, within the app, I added a link to the “Inside Hall H @ Comic-Con 2010” flashback video just for fun (you should see it there on the right of this page) and to more quickly drain your batteries when you show it to your friends while waiting in line. I’ve also made it incredibly easy to LIKE the Survival Guide on Facebook and follow it on Twitter (as long as you’re logged into your accounts).
Click here to get information on downloading the app for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch (OS 4.0 or later). Sorry to the Android folks (of which I am one), I really wanted to get an app put together for your devices also, but my schedule just didn’t permit it. Next year! 🙂
